A New Approach to Playing Campaign Mode in Age of Empires
Hello ye fams,
Today I am going to play one scenario and try something a bit different I just got African Kingdoms and I like history and playing campaign scenarios but what turns me off to playing campaigns is that basically I feel like I am not really honing the kinds of skills I would be needing to develop for competitive multiplayer gaming. According to the YouTuber Harvest Build Destroy(video linked below) it might not be good to have developers deviate too much from the current monetarily successful approach to campaign design. I am not by any means suggesting that, but I have seen a fair amount of interest from current players in there being more user designed coop historical campaigns and my approach I will take today to playing campaign mode might be a good step in that direction. My wish is to see
What I will do I am going to only focus on playing those parts of the scenario which will actually hone my competititive multiplayer skills and then post here/blog about my experience

This is going to be most similar to Spirit of the Law's campaigns versus history series.
This was also inspired by Harvest Build Destroy's "Deliberate Practice" video linked below.
